The Pitot F-14 Jolly Rogers edition is truly a precision tool watch made to accurately portray the spec of the legendary fighter aircraft it pays homage to. The F-14 Tomcat was flown by the Jolly Rogers squadron in the US Navy between 1974 and 2006. Quite possibly one of the most iconic fighter aircraft of our time, the F-14 Tomcat was a supersonic precision fighter aircraft. Often deployed aboard carrierships, this aircraft had unique skills and features still loved by enthusiasts to this day. When flown by the legendary Jolly Rogers squadron, it was adorned by a black tail with an iconic skull and crossbones on an all-black tail.
Like the F-14 Tomcat this watch is inspired by, this timepiece is also adorned by uniquely identifiable features:
- 316L Stainless steel case, glass blasted
- Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating
- Seiko NH35A 21,600 bph
- Black dial, with iconic Jolly Rogers skull and crossbones above 6 o'clock
- Gold band around the dial to represent the iconic bands normally found on the tail fins flown by Jolly Rogers squadron
- Second hand inspired by the ejection seat handle in the F-14 Tomcat
The watches are developed by a former aircraft mechanic from the Royal Danish Airforce.
